Mark Walton
Mark Walton is the founder of Foto:RE and a founding director of FLASH|Contemporary Photography HERE, a festival of photography in Kitchener-Waterloo Ontario.
Mark’s work has explored such diverse topics as our collective association to cultural genocide (Complicity) and the politics of gender roles (in Tottering Biped Theatre’s production of “First Dance”).
Mark has been active in creating safe spaces for photographers to pursue their craft. He is currently working on a project that will see Foto:RE offer residencies to selected artists in 2019.
