Partial funding has been secured from private donations AND a regional arts fund, which means this project is a GO! Our editorial team has assembled a fine group of photographers and writers and are continuing to juggle editing and making design tweaks to the format of the magazine.<\/p>\n
Recently decided: being fans of LIFE magazine, we decided to increase the size of foto:RE|VIEW to match the dimensions of that iconic publication.<\/p>\n
February 2, 2019 ~<\/span> Under consideration: instead of using a standard white page, we’re considering using a 30% grey to help image highlights to pop off the page.<\/p>\n March 6, 2019 ~<\/span> Most of the writing is done. It’s off to editing and then final proofing!<\/p>\n March 9, 2019 ~<\/span> More edits done today and getting really excited to read our premier editorial! The writer is polishing it up for delivery tomorrow!<\/p>\n May 23, 2019 ~<\/span> So we went and crunched some numbers with the printer and have decided to change the size of the magazine in order maximized the output. It’s still going to be oversized at 9″ x 12″ and will have some pretty impressive paper stock. We’re busy re-sizing the layout and re-positioning the text to make it all look as good as it should – which is pretty darned great! 1 week away from sending it to print!<\/p>\n June 8, 2019 ~<\/span> Edits are done. Proofreading complete. Layout complete. Off to the printer for proofs and production!<\/p>\n June 11, 2019 ~<\/span> Proofs ready! Proof party tonight! 11:40PM and done!<\/p>\n June 17, 2019 ~<\/span> Printing and binding in process.
